METALAND

THE CLIENT

Metaland is a 3D virtual world browser-based platform. Users may buy virtual plots of land in the platform as NFTs via the MANA cryptocurrency, which uses the Ethereum blockchain. It was opened to the public in February 2022, and is overseen by the nonprofit Decentraland Foundation.

THE GOAL

The video was a prelaunch teaser of the upcoming 3d platform by Decentraland, the aim of the video was to get the viewers excited by comparing it to the much fantasied ‘parallel universe’. the video was a short 30 second teaser using 2d animations and characters.

WE'VE GOT WORK TO DO

We wanted to create a look and feel of a person entering a metaverse from their home, which is why the reason you’d see all the transitions in the video like a camera floating in space. Through some of the illustrations, we also wanted to give a feel of how you’d be able to interact and traverse this artificial 3d world.🙂
